8) USE OF THE SOCIAL NETWORKS

8.1 ‘Double click’ Facebook plugins

Our website uses social plugins (“plugins”) from Facebook’s social network, operated by Facebook Inc, 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA (“Facebook”).

In order to increase the protection of your data when you visit our website, the webpage plugins are disabled as standard and can be enabled using a single click thanks to a so-called ‘double-click’ solution. Once the plugins are disabled, they are shaded on our web page. This type of integration ensures that no connection to Facebook servers is established when a page of our website containing such plugins is visited. In fact, pursuant to the measures set out in Art.6 (1) point a GDPR, it’s only after having agreed to the transfer of data via the enabling of the plugins that your browser can establish a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the respective plugins is sent directly to your browser and integrated on the website. This data (including your IP address) is transmitted via the plugin to Facebook. However, we inform you that we have no control over the amount of data collected via Facebook using the plugins. To our knowledge, Facebook receives information about the websites you’ve visited or are in the process of visiting.

Thanks to these plugins, Facebook is also informed that your browser has called up our website, even if you have no Facebook profile or are not currently connected.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted and recorded directly onto a Facebook server situated in the United States.

When you interact using the plugins, this information is also transmitted via your browser directly to a Facebook server and stored there. This information will also be published on Facebook and shared with your contacts.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy, can be found in the Facebook data protection declaration at: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php

8.2?Plugins Google+ with ‘double click’

Our website uses social plugins from the Google+ social network, operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

In order to enhance the protection of your data when you visit our website, the webpage plugins are disabled as standard and can be enabled using a single click thanks to a so-called ‘double-click’ solution. Once the plugins are disabled, they are shaded on our web page. This type of integration ensures that no connection to Google+ servers is established when a page of our website containing such plugins is called up. In fact, pursuant to the measures set out in Art.6 (1) point a GDPR, it’s only after having agreed to the transfer of data via the enabling of the plugins that your browser can establish a direct connection with the Google+ servers. The content of the respective plugins is sent directly to your browser and integrated on the website. This data (including your IP address) is then transmitted via the plugin to Google+. However, we inform you that we have no control over the amount of data collected via Google+ using the plugins. To our knowledge, Google+ receives information about the websites you’ve visited or are in the process of visiting.

Thanks to these plugins, Google is also informed that your browser has called up our website, even if you have no Google+ profile or are not currently connected to Google.

This information (including your IP address) is transmitted and recorded directly onto a Google server situated in the United States.

When you interact with the plugins, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a Google server to be stored there. This information is also published on Google and shared with your contacts.

Google LLC, based in the United States, is certified for the EU-US “Privacy Shield”, which aims to guarantee the protection of personal data transferred from an EU member state to the United States.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Google, as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy, can be found in the Google data protection declaration at: www.google.com/policies/privacy/

8.3?Pinterest as standard Plugin

The seller’s pages use so-called social plugins (“plugins”) from the Pinterest social network, operated by Pinterest Inc, 808 Brannan Street, San Francisco, CA, 94103, USA (“Pinterest”). These plugins are signalled via the Pinterest “Pin it” logo. An overview of the Pinterest social network plugins and their appearance can be found at the following link: https://developers.pinterest.com/docs/getting-started/introduction/

If you access a page of our website that contains such a plugin, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Pinterest servers.

The plugin then transfers the protocol data to the Pinterest server located in the United States. This information may include the IP address, the address of the sites visited which have Pinterest functionality, the browser type and settings, the date and time of the request, your use of Pinterest and the corresponding cookies.

If you interact using the plugins, for example by clicking on the “Pin it” button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly by your browser to a Pinterest server to be stored there. The information is also published on Pinterest profile and displayed on your Pinterest account.

The processing of this personal data takes place in accordance with the measures set out in Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR, on the basis of Pinterest’s legitimate interests in the insertion of personalised advertising for the purpose of informing other users of the social network about your activities on our website and for the purpose of demand-oriented design of the service.

If you do not want Pinterest to associate the information collected through our website directly with your Pinterest user data, we invite you to disconnect from Pinterest before you visit our website.

You can also prevent the loading of the Pinterest plugins and thus oppose the data processing procedures described above using your browser add-ons e.g. with the “NoScript” script blocker (http://noscript.net/).

Please view Pinterest’s privacy policy to find out the purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Pinterest, as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy: https://policy.pinterest.com/fr/privacy-policy

9) USE OF VIDEOS

This website uses the YouTube embedding function for the display and playback of videos offered by the provider “YouTube”, which belongs to Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”).

To this end, the extended data protection mode is used to ensure, according to provider information, that user information will only be stored once the playback function of the video is started. When the playback of embedded YouTube videos is started, the provider sets the “YouTube” cookies in order to collect information about user behaviour. According to indications from YouTube, the use of these cookies is intended, among other things, to record video statistics, to improve user-friendliness and to avoid improper actions. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be directly associated with your account when you click on a video. If you do not wish to be associated with your profile on YouTube, you must log out before activating the video playback. Google records your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation takes place in particular according to Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR, on the basis of the legitimate interests of Google in the insertion of personalised advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website.

However, you have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.

Regardless of whether the embedded video is played back, a connection to the Google network “double click” is established when visiting this website. This may trigger further data processing beyond our control.

Google LLC, based in the USA, is certified for the EU-US “Privacy Shield”, which aims to guarantee the protection of personal data transferred from an EU member state to the United States.

Further information on YouTube data protection can be found in the provider’s data protection statement at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

10) ONLINE MARKETING

Our website uses the “Google AdWords” online advertising program and the conversion tracking within the framework of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). We use the Google Adwords program, and notably its advertising insert techniques (Google AdWords) on third-party websites, to draw attention to our offers . Through the data collected, we can determine how successful our various advertising campaigns are. We endeavour to show you advertisements that are likely to be of interest to you. We want to make our website more appealing to you and to come up with a fair calculation of the advertising costs.

The conversion tracking cookie is enabled on a user’s browser, if he or she clicks on an AdWords ad displayed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies usually lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits a certain page of this website and if the cookie has not yet expired, we (and Google) will be able to recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer gets a different cookie. Thus, cookies cannot be traced via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected using conversion cookies is used to provide conversion statistics to AdWords customers who have opted-in to conversion tracking. Customers are informed about the total number of users who clicked on the ad and were forwarded to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive any information enabling them to identify users personally.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking program, you can refuse the use of this program by disabling the Google conversion tracking cookie via your Internet browser through the user settings. In this case, you will not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.

11.1 Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a website analysis service proposed by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). Google Analytics uses small text files placed on your computer (“Cookies”), which help us to analyse how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about use of the website (including the shortened IP address) will generally be transmitted to and stored on a Google server located in the United States.

This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”, which ensures an anonymisation of the IP address by shortening it and excludes a direct personal relationship with the user.

As a result of the extension, your IP address will first be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases may the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In these exceptional cases, data processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 (1) point f GDPR, on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behaviour for optimisation and marketing purposes.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website use. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser within the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. However, we should point out that in that case you might not be able to use the full functionality of this website.

You may also permanently prevent Google from collecting and processing data generated by the aforementioned cookie regarding your use of the website (including your IP address), by installing the  browser plugin available under the following link:
