While table tennis may seem like an incredibly safe sport, maneuvering any object as large as a ping pong table is never without risk, especially for children.
And it is for them that Cornilleau has developed safety systems to prevent accidents.

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING: SAFETY ABOVE ALL

Cornilleau has perfected two systems that allow you to open, close, lock and unlock our ping pong tables in complete safety. The first is a decentralized system called Push’n Lock which works using buttons located on the side of the table. Its 8-point locking system complies with safety standards. The second system features a centralized unlocking handle that allows the table to be opened and closed, as well as locked into the playing position. This patented centralized system known as DSI features a 16-point locking system that offers unprecedented safety. If, for example, a child opens the table and releases the handle, the surface locks at 65°, avoiding any risk of an accident from it suddenly collapsing.

Tables equipped with the Push’n Lock system:

  • Recreational indoor table 100
  • Recreational outdoor tables 100X and 200X

Tables equipped with the DSI system :

  • Collapsible tables for group use: 540M and 740 Longlife
  • All collapsible competition tables

CORNER PROTECTORS

It’s never nice to hit yourself against the corner of a table, and it can be quite painful too. Corner protectors keep this from happening and are especially useful for tournaments.
